If space in the room dedicated to your render farm is tight, the renderBOXX 10200 will allow you to pack in all the rendering power you need, and then some. Each renderBOXX 10200 module is comprised of two nodes that include two processors each for a total of 16 rendering cores per module. The renderBOXX 10200 modules are 4U tall with 5 modules fitting in the width of a standard rack. That’s a total of 800 cores in a full rack. The modules are designed for scalability. By adding additional modules, you can progressively build out a render farm that increases your rendering capability, all while using an absolute minimum of space. Just think of the improvements to the quality of your work if you could render every day on a appropriately sized farm made of renderBOXX 10200 Series modules. State-of-the-art render farm Control
The renderBOXX 10200 modules are controlled through IPMI 2.0 technology. IPMI allows render farm managers to manage their distributed rendering capacity from any computer connected by IP regardless of the health or power state of individual nodes. The render nodes can be shutdown or rebooted through an out-of-band connection even if no OS is installed and even if the render farm is not powered up. A convenient software monitoring instrument panel informs the render farm manager of the status of the farm at all times.
