Assembler |
Hours: 7am 4pm M-F This opportunity is a full-time position. BOXX is looking for a Computer Assembler to join our team and contribute to BOXXs ability to deliver systems that are optimized for todays high-end visual computing applications. Responsibilities & Requirements: Assemble computer workstations & render nodes; Check chasse, part numbers on drive, logo box and motherboard prior to building system; Build systems based on mother board specifications; Maintain system board BIOS updates and driver updates released by product manufacturers; Check component parts, labels, and verify customer name prior to packaging and shipping system; Package and ship systems; Clean and organize work area daily; 2+ years of computer build experience; working knowledge of computer components and peripherals; A+ certification a plus; Abiliity to lift up to 50 lbs. $10 - $11 per hour. |

BOXX is looking for a talented and energetic copy writing professional with the desire to immerse oneself into a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and be an integral part of the execution of an ambitious marketing strategy. The position reports to the Director of Marketing and involves the following activities: Work with Director of Marketing to define main topics, purpose of deliverables. Brainstorm with Marketing Team to generate ideas on ways to position BOXX, BOXX products, and promote BOXX programs Produce content for product brochures, tech sheets, and web pages Work with graphics/web designer to design documents Write company newsletter Write sales aids for sales training Interview customers and partners to write convincing stories about their experience with BOXX products Write case studies and white papers Write copy for posters for trade shows Write and prepare press kits for press meetings Develop advertising copy with the marketing team Write copy for technology & industry news important to BOXX customers Write copy for marketing programs (contests, events ) Gather technical data from Product Manager and BOXX Labs experts as required Skills and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs Ability to write clear, persuasive, original copy. Ability to write reports, press releases and other business correspondence Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals or groups of managers, vendors, customers, and the general public Ability to give and receive feedback on work Ability to find an original, clear and persuasive voice to successfully message BOXXs unique value proposition in all media platforms. Ability to solve problems quickly, assess situation and react with proposed solutions based on analysis of all factors. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Interpersonal and communication skills Self starter motivated to achieve results Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment Must be detail and process-oriented Ability to be self-motivated and to work independently. External Technical Support Representative II |
BOXX is looking for a talented and energetic technical professional with Red Hat Linux Certification to join our team. This is a customer facing position, which involves interacting with our customers via phone and/or email, and coming up with the most cost effective solution while maintaining our exceedingly high standards. The position reports to the Manager, Validation Engineering and Customer Support and involves the following activities: Handling inbound customer support phone calls and emails for both Windows and Linux related issues. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and solving customer issues ranging from hardware issues to software specific issues including driver issues. Issuing advanced parts replacements for customers as needed. Following up with customers after problem has been solved as needed. Communicate solutions with both the validation and production departments. Provide input on how to proactively decrease call volume resulting from customer issues. Update tools used for troubleshooting and testing of issues. Analyze process changes made for impact on call volume. Analyze failure rates and make suggestions to decrease. Develop new plans for better serving customers. Skills and Abilities: Linux - Fedora Core and SuSe Both technical and user knowledge of MicroSoft Office Programs Ability to learn and effectively troubleshoot and use a variety of software applications data entry 10-key Typing phone skills organizational skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Requirements: Red Hat Linux Certification (preferred). MCSE and A+ certification preferred 3 + years computer manufacturing and/or support experience (both Windows and Linux). This is a fulltime position. |
