Mr. Moore joined BOXX in 2000 as chairman. He has more than 30 years experience in the computer, semiconductor, and consumer electronic industries and currently serves as president and CEO of NanoCoolers in Austin, TX.
Prior to joining NanoCoolers, Mr. Moore was president and CEO at Alchemy Semiconductors, Inc., which was later acquired by Advanced Micro Devices (AMD); Mr. Moore continued with AMD as a specialized consultant. Mr. Moore has also served as chief operating officer and president of Crossroads Systems Inc, and spent more than 15 years in general management positions at Texas Instruments, Analog Devices and Cirrus Logic.
Mr. Moore earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a BSEE from Christian Brothers University.
Mr. Krause joined BOXX in 2001 as president and CEO. He has more than 30 years of experience in the high technology industry with notable companies such as Siemens Nixdorf Information Systems, IBM, and CompuAdd Corporation.
Prior to joining BOXX, Mr. Krause was general manager of the U.S. Retail and Banking Systems Division of Siemens Nixdorf Information Systems where he had a direct role in stabilizing the business and establishing a solid foundation for the growth of the Division in North America. Prior to that, Mr. Krause was with CompuAdd Corporation as president and CEO, where he was directly responsible for managing and reorganizing the company through a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy, returning the company to profitability. Mr. Krause also worked at IBM Corporation for 15 years, developing first line, middle and senior management skills in high-growth technology product divisions such as the Entry Systems Division, which developed, produced and launched the original IBM PC and the RS6000 Workstation product line.
Mr. Krause earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Texas Lutheran College.
Mr. Lawrence currently serves as vice president of operations, responsible for managing system operations, manufacturing and product development. Prior to founding BOXX, Mr. Lawrence was the founder of Cooperative PCs, a personal computer and consultant business specializing in high-performance system design.
Mr. Lawrence earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University.
Mr. Civatte grew up outside of Philadelphia attending a vocational high school where he mastered the art of carpentry. He enrolled in Temple University and became the youngest certified vocational education instructor earning his teaching certificate at age 20. After teaching for 2 years, Mr. Civatte began his sales career where his leadership and passion for selling earned him numerous honors. By age 26, he was the national sales manager for a California based equipment manufacturer. Following that experience, Mr. Civatte managed and grew the sales teams of several major companies. He eventually returned to his passion for education and co-founded Specialized Solutions Inc. in 1996.
Specialized Solutions Inc. remains a leader in the development and delivery of technology based training for computer professionals. Under Mr. Civatte’s leadership, Specialized Solutions developed training for Microsoft, Minolta, Bell & Howell, Canon, New Horizons Training Centers and countless other corporations and organizations looking to develop their employees’ skill sets. In 2007, Mr. Civatte sold the business to The Riverside Company and joined BOXX.
Shoaib Mohammad is VP of Marketing and Business Development at BOXX Technologies, overseeing global marketing and business development activities. He joined BOXX Technologies in 2008 as Director of Business Development with overall responsibility to help grow BOXX business worldwide through strategic alliances and partner marketing activities. In this role, he also managed BOXX’s International, OEM, and Reseller sales channel. Mr. Mohammad’s role eventually expanded to include worldwide marketing, overseeing strategic marketing, product marketing, PR and online marketing.
Prior to BOXX, Mr. Mohammad spent 5 years as director of Corporate Business Development for Legerity Inc., which manufactures data and voice communication ICs. He managed corporate strategy, strategic marketing, strategic alliances, and IP licensing. He also oversaw Legerity’s M&A activities, evaluated acquisition targets and highlighted Legerity’s value to potential acquirers.
Prior to Legerity, Mr. Mohammad held management positions at Cirrus Logic, including the Director of eCommerce Business unit as well as and Director of Business Development for PC Audio division, which grew under his supervision from $50M to $160M within 3 years. Mr. Mohammad also held management and engineering positions at AMD, Adaptec, Aztech Labs, and Everex Systems. He holds a BSEE degree from California State University, Long Beach and Executive Leadership Certification from Cornell University.
