CONTEST RULES

For a chance to win the Enertia Electric Motorcycle, you must register and submit a 2D illustration, 3D rendering, or a 20 second animation by the submission deadline. Only one submission per person is allowed.

Theme of the Work

The work submitted must portray the concept of a "Greener World". Some examples of a greener world may include a non-polluting transportation system, a futuristic house with sustainable energy sources, or even green consumer products. You have total creative license and freedom as long as the subject of the piece reflects the "Greener World" theme. The style of the work can be realistic, hyper-realistic, conceptual, or even imaginary.

Submission Specifications

Upon registration, you will receive an FTP account login and password. Please print and save this information for future reference. All completed entries must be submitted via FTP by the submission deadline.

Filename Nomenclature
Please use the following nomenclature when naming your files before uploading:
title_artistName_GWC.filetype. (i.e. TheScream_EdvardMunch_GWC.jpg)

2D Artwork
All 2d submissions must be in .JPG format at a minimum resolution of 96dpi, and no smaller than 1280px X 1024px.

3D Artwork
All 3d submissions must be in .JPG format at a minimum resolution of 96dpi, and no smaller than 1280px X 1024px.

Animation
All animation submissions must be at least 20 seconds long in a Quicktime .mov format at 24fps, and no smaller than 720px x 480px.

Submissions received before SIGGRAPH 2008 may be integrated into reels running on plasma screens at the BOXX booth.

Submission Deadline and Announcing the Winners

The entries must be submitted by August 22^nd, 2008, 5PM CST. The winners will be announced between September 8^th - September 15^th, 2008.

Judging

The work will be judged on effectively communicating the "Greener World" theme, creativity, high visual quality,
and technical ability.
