XTREME, equipped with the NVIDIA Quadro 5000, not only beat every system we’ve ever tested, it demolished them, with some results more than two times faster than those previously recorded."

"BOXX workstations are ideal platforms for DS SolidWorks."

Nick Iwaskow, Manager

"In one side- by-side test (my own non scientific test) the BOXX was 43% faster than a comparable workstation. I have also found their support to be first class, above and beyond, second to none."

Made in the U.S.A. with BOXX Warranty

Sales, engineering, manufacturing, and support are all right here in Austin, TX, USA. No other computer company can make that claim. And we support our SolidWorks solutions with a three year limited warranty. No other manufacturer can make that claim either.

The Rendering Authority

BOXX also builds dedicated rendering solutions. We know the professional applications, rendering engines, and queue management software, as well as the hows and whys of building an efficient render farm.  If your question is rendering, the only solution is BOXX.

BOXX Recommends Your Ideal SolidWorks Solution

In terms of performance, selecting the number of processing cores in your workstation is critical.  SolidWorks is a frequency bound application (meaning that it predominantly uses only one core). Since the frequency of that core determines performance more than any other variable, a workstation with less cores (but higher frequency) is ideal.

Photoview360 and SolidWorks Simulation are bandwidth bound (meaning they commonly utilize multiple cores simultaneously). Therefore, if you incorporate these applications into your SolidWorks workflow, a workstation with more cores can provide better performance to complete your renderings or simulations faster. Consult the quick guide below to determine which BOXX solution is right for your SolidWorks workflow.
