Technology has revolutionized the age-old tradition of producing drawn and painted art. Today's graphic artist can leverage very powerful workstations and complex graphics and painting applications to create stunning material in new ways. The physical experience of the painting or drawing medium has evolved to include the skillful use of new software tools to manipulate the visual impact of digital images.
Many graphic artists have moved beyond traditional artistic creation. They are an essential part of the production of film, broadcast, games, and web material. They use the same artistic talent that have made them the set painters for theater productions and motion pictures of old to produce innovative textures for 3D environments or to create matte backgrounds for today's highly digitized movie-making process.
All artists want to concentrate more on the artistic aspect of their work. BOXX is committed to designing high-performance tools that facilitate the translation of one's creativity into high quality images others can enjoy.

“For this film, Rainmaker was given the ‘Saint Sulpice’ sequence and the daunting challenge of digitally recreating the inside of the Parisian church, which turned out to be one of the biggest sequential shot sequences in the film. Since this was a very demanding sequence, we needed the very best hardware support to carry it through to completion. We had to make changes on the fly and the 3DBOXX workstations were extremely reliable throughout the project. BOXX was a great ally to have on this film.”
